The Seven Government colleges of the capital have been affiliated to Dhaka University. In View of the decision of the Ministry of Education to Implement the directive of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The Government colleges wre included in the University of Dhaka.
The Colleges are-
- Dhaka College
- Eden Women's College
- Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College
- Govt. Kabi Nazrul Islam College
- Begum Badrunnesa Government College
- Mirpur Government Bangla College
- Govt. Titumir College ETC,
